In memoriam Henk Brinkman

's-Gravenzande - On 7 June 2023, we received the sad news that Henk Brinkman passed away at the age of 70. Henk Brinkman was employed at our parent company Royal Brinkman in 's-Gravenzande for many years. As 4th generation Brinkman and son of Henk Brinkman Senior, he followed in his footsteps and started in the Purchasing Department. He then advanced to Director International and then to Managing Director.

During his time, Royal Brinkman experienced its 100th anniversary and was awarded the Royal designation. Henk Brinkman played a major role and contributed to the internationalisation of Royal Brinkman. His business acumen and drive led, among other things, to the establishment of branches in Poland and Hungary. He also spearheaded the development of the webshops and was involved in the foundation of the company Agrobío.

Unfortunately, Henk Brinkman had to step down in 2008 after being felled by illness after a work trip. Henk Brinkman did not like to step into the spotlight, but internally he was a passionate and committed director and shareholder. He was a travelling ambassador for Royal Brinkman.
