This year, you will find us at two different booths: with partner Letsgrow.com in Hall 3.2 D-13 and with dealer Steenks Service in Hall 4.1 C-01.

S-GRAVENZANDE - International horticultural supplier Royal Brinkman enriches its product range with logistic solutions, by acquiring Berg Hortimotive. With this acquisition Royal Brinkman responds to the increasing demand for company-specific solutions concerning logistical processes and realises the growth ambitions that emerge from its strategic long-term plan.

'We firmly believe that in the coming decades, covered horticulture will make a significant contribution to the global food problem. The Dutch horticultural sector has a leading role in this effort. Berg Hortimotive (BHM) forms a part of this cluster, participating directly and actively in it with its smart logistics solutions for cultivation and crop handling’.

Wim Roest, branch manager at RedStar, received his ticket to the future from Andreas Hofland, General Manager at HortiKey. With the trade fair promotion during the Fruit Logistica in Berlin earlier this year, the Berg Hortimotive subsidiary has actively engaged in making known the great advantage of the daily automated and very accurate determination of the crop estimate.

We not only bring greenhouse vegetables and flowers in motion with our products, but a number of our colleagues are also bringing themselves in motion during the Rotterdam Business Marathon on 8 April next. We have two teams from four colleagues who together will walk about 10 kilometres; quite a feat, and we wish them now every success.

On Wednesday, 7 March, Her Majesty Queen Maxima officially opened the World Horti Center in Naaldwijk. The collaboration between education, research, government and trade and industry makes this global knowledge and innovation centre in the heart of the Dutch greenhouse horticulture the first of its kind in the world. Minister Carola Schouten of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality also attended the official opening and in a speech she underlined the international leading position of the horticulture sector.
