The founding father

Arie van den Berg regularly received customer-specific questions from fellow growers. He was always eager to help them find a solution to their problems. At a certain point, however, the demand for his solutions became so great that, on the advice of his accountant, he decided to estabish a private limited company. Thus was born BeMa (Berg Machines).

From early inspiration to ambassador

The story of Westlandpeppers

Pieter grew up with the Berg Hortimotive brand. Today he and his two brothers run the family business Westlandpeppers. Pieter is very pleased with the BeNomic Star pipe rail trolley. They are user-friendly and robust. No unnecessary bells and whistles, because that's simply not necessary.

The greenhouses of Westlandpeppers employ staff of various nationalities. Not everyone has knowledge of or affinity with electronic machinery. Therefore, it is important that the equipment is simple and reliable. And that is exactly what the pipe rail trolleys from Berg Hortimotive offer.

Spare parts always in stock

Many pipe rail trolleys from the 1980s are still in use today—a testament to the longevity of our machines. While that’s fantastic, having spare parts readily available for these older models is just as important. That’s why we ensure parts are always in stock, no matter the machine’s age.
